Second Hand Machines

New in ProLace Version 3

This new version is again a very big step forward. Powerful new automatic stitches, exiting new features and an improved performance excels ProLace 3.

New Commands

A number of new commands help to speed up the design and punching process.

FAN – Arrange polylines between 2 reference polylines

The command FAN is a construction aid and allows you to arrange a certain number of polylines between 2 reference polylines.

  FNODE – French Node object

The FNODE is constructed like a STAR and enables you to construct a French Node object.
GEDGE – Edge with definable inclination lines

The command GEDGE frees you from the limitations of the SEDGE command. The GEDGE is also based on the center line, but the inclination lines can be defined  manually.

Commands with new features

Also many new features were added to existing commands.

Blattstitch and Geflect objects
Farmer - Random area definable

You can precisely define the random area of a blattstich or geflect with polylines. In this way is it now very easy to define an intertwined effect with guaranteed overlap.

Turnstitches on random effects

In previous versions was it not possible to define turnstitches on random effects. This limitation falls with the version 3.

Shorten stitches for the Standard Geflect

With the option Shorten you can move stitches automatically in curves with a strong stitch concentration. This feature was available only for Blattstitches, but it is now also available for the standard Geflect.

New Inclination-line type Reverse

3 stitches are inserted on an inclination line of the type Reverse in order to change the stitch sequence.
This Inclination-line type is mainly used to improve the stitch picture of blattstitches and to insert turnstitches in the corners of new GEDGE objects.

STEP – Step stitch object

There is a new Option Back between points.

In case of step stitches with more than one layer is it now possible to return between the points of the first layer.

CHAINC and CHAIN2P - Arrange objects on polylines

Now you can define different start- and end-sizes, hence the selected objects can grow or shrink.

UNDER - Underlayers

The Standard Underlayer has also changed. It is now inserted on the start side of the blattstich only and it recognizes corners.
.

Option Inside for Chemical 3

The option Inside enables you construct a new type of underlayer for chemical lace..

MODIFY - Editing of objects

Option Clone

In case of an intertwined effect you need the same boundaries and inclination lines for the inner and outer part of the effect.
The option Clone enables you to make a copy of a blattstitch or geflect, where the copy uses the same boundaries and inclination lines as the original.

.

Option Search - to locate a certain turn or function

The new search option enables you to search a certain turn in the design. It also allows you to jump to the Start, to the End, to the next Stop or Split or to any specified function.
Fast stepping with the Next & Previous Options

.

Speed and stitch length display
  • If you keep the N or B keys pressed you can step through a design. The stepping speed is now increased dramatically.

  • If you are editing a manually punched sequence, the length of the next stitch is displayed in the edit window.

Editing of non embroidery objects
  • If you choose a polyline object, you can change the color, the layer or you can add points, join it with other polylines or invert it.

  • If you choose an inclination line of a Curvy Geflect CGEFLECT you can invert the inclination line.

  • If you choose the header, you can modify the header information.

  • For all other objects you can change the color and the layer.

TURNS - Punching
Support of Thread Cut and Program functions for Lässer machines

Now you can define Autocut for Lässer machines in the start menu.
If Autocut is On, Program 1 is inserted automatically after Needle On and Program 6 is inserted after Needle Off.

You can also insert Lässer programs with the new PRGM function.

Working with Groups

On punching you can define Groups of embroidery objects.
A Group can be saved under a certain name and it can be inserted on punching at any position of the design.

Groups can also be used with the commands COPYROT, COPYMIR and CHAIN2P.

.

Improved punching of sequence designs

The handling of sequences is optimized to speed up the punching process of sequence designs.

Transition for modules

Modules can have different start- and end-sizes, hence they can grow or shrink.

OUTPUT - Export of embroidery data
Three levels for Auto STG (Small Thread Guide)

In SLC Saurer mode and in Lässer mode ProLace supports 3 levels for switching the STG function. If the lowest level is reached the system switches to STG 2, at the next level to 3 and at the last level to 4.

Auto TB (Thread Break)

In SLC Saurer mode the function TB (Tread Break) is handled automatically. After Needle On, TB is switched to 4 and after Needle Off back to 1.

UPDATE – Refresh embroidery objects
Automatic update of stitch density

If you copy ore change embroidery objects with the commands SCALE, COPYMIR, COPYROT, CHAINC, CHAIN2P, the stitch density will be updated automatically. No manual rebuild is be necessary anymore.

Update of a selection of objects

UPDATE is not limited to a single object anymore. You can choose all objects, which must be updated, in one single step.

Orientation of Dots, Stars and other circular objects
The orientation of circular objects like Stars, Dots etc. will not be changed anymore by the Rebuild Option respectively by the UPDATE command.

What else?

This is not yet all! There are still many other features coming along with this release. Below you get a brief description of them.

  • The color of sequences can be defined with the PAILLETT command.

  • Improved stitching for RBORER, EBORER and DBORER.

  • The selection mode Previous is now available also in the punching mode.

  • The AUXLIN command option Divide enables you to define segments with different start- and end-width.
